Final Count Down To The Thirty Day Challenge
For those of you who don't know what this is about see my previous post on Thirty Day Challenge: A Great Starting Point For Internet Marketing. So are you ready for the challenge? If you have not signed on yet do so Now. Go to Thirty Day Challenge and input your name and email and bam you're in. It's that simple.
And if you are in here are a few pointers to help you get prepared and ready for the 30 days ahead.
How to get the best out of the thirty day challenge
1. Complete the Pre Season Lessons and set up your computer. You need a system in place, that is why Ed took the trouble of having a Pre Season period to help you get your system in place. The system helps to save time, lots of time. So if its not up and running yet, get to it.
2. You need to stay focused on the challenge, that is, the fact that you will spend the next 30 days doing it. It can get overwhelming if you do not focus on what is most important, and what is that? Following the lessons Ed teaches and getting the practicals that come with it done.
3. Twitter, the forum, Facebook, are great and we do need the people who maybe the most important contacts we make on-line this year or ever, yet they are still just tools do not let them rule you, consume your time and overwhelm you with stuff that will not take you to achieving your goal. Which should be to complete the challenge.
4. What ever you do get the lesson for the day done. Follow Ed_Dale, period.
5. OK, I've read some not so great remarks about this Australian guy who speaks in a slang people don't understand, etc and sometimes the comments are much worse. In case you didn't know its Ed Dale they are referring to, well as I'm originally from Nigeria I can see how this small minded approach stops us from learning and appreciating what Ed has brought so freely to the table. Even if you know a lot of the stuff he's teaching you don't know it all and some of this stuff could make or if you don't learn it break your business.
Anyway enough of that, I think I'm ranting ... just follow Ed he knows what he is doing. Some people who stayed on the challenge till the end and didn't make $10 last year have gone on to start great Internet Businesses or blogs thanks to the 30 Day Challenge. You could be one of them.
6. Again, Stay focused on doing the lessons and completing the challenge, if you need help, ask your teammates, get on the forum if we don't know the answers. Some one else does, we are all here because we have a goal to make our internet marketing dreams come true. The Journey is about to begin.
Let's do it.

How to Make Money Online- Part 1
How To Make Money Online -Part1
Increase Your Website Traffic:
Traffic is the back bone of any online business. To make money online it is therefore important to find out how you can send visitors, traffic, hits or whatever else you may want to call the high volume of people you need to visit your site in order to get the sales you want.
Now in the next couple of weeks I will be reviewing , testing and reporting back to you on different methods that I 've found online and how they are working for me.
This I hope will give you my readers some insight on what kind of marketing and advertising will bring in the bucks for you.
In my search for new methods I came across this method which I've noticed but don't know too much of and today I have a guest writer giving us some tips on how to use teleseminars to increase your online profits. Enjoy.
3 Ways To Get More Traffic To Your Website With
Teleseminars
By Bob Jenkins
The number one issue faced by any business person
with a website today is getting traffic.
Without visitors to your website, how will you
ever be paid for your products and services (or through your affiliate
recommendations)?
One solution to this problem is holding a
teleseminar.
A teleseminar is simply a phone call where
somebody (i.e., you) talks to somebody else (i.e., a guest expert or just the
audience) about a specific topic of interest.
You don't have to have any specific educational
background or be some kind of certified expert to hold a teleseminar just the
courage to hold an intelligent conversation for about an hour about something
you enjoy.
Marketing with teleseminars gives you over a dozen
ways to get traffic to your products and services. Let me highlight 3 of them
for you right now.
Teleseminars can...
Provide a live event for people to get immediate
answers to their questions
Turn into articles and blog posts which are magnets for search engine-traffic
Connect you with new affiliates who share your
teleseminar with others in exchange for a commission
Let me describe how each of these 3 could work for
you.
Attract Traffic With A Live Teleseminar
When you host a teleseminar, you provide a
specific time and date for a group of people to gather together. At heart, most
people are still social animals. Because of that fact, if people know they can
get together with other people like them at the same time and date and learn or
discuss their favorite topic, they'll show up.
And if you provide a way for your listeners to ask
you a question that you answer during the teleseminar then they'll definitely
want to connect with you after the call is over.
Create Traffic Magnet Articles And Blog Posts
A second way teleseminars can generate traffic for
your website, products, and services is by turning into text.
Most people talk at about 200 words per minute,
and within an hour, you can create a 50 page transcript. Simply by breaking
apart that text, you can create a dozen articles and many more blog posts with
just a single teleseminar.
You then submit those articles to article
directories and ezine publishers to spread your message. Each article becomes a
traffic magnet by connecting readers back to your website through a link at the
end of the text.
You can write weeks worth of search-engine
friendly content by taking the same articles and breaking them up into blog
posts you publish on your own blog or on someone else's.
Get Affiliates To Send You Traffic
My favorite method of getting traffic with
teleseminars is by creating an affiliate program for the sale of your
teleseminars, their transcripts, or additional calls you do in the future.
Even before you hold a call, people are willing to
pay in advance for the transcripts and/or the recording of your teleseminar. And
once you start selling something online, you can invite affiliate marketers to
promote your teleseminar product for you.
In exchange for sending you traffic, you agree to
pay a certain percentage of the profits a simple arrangement that's made very
easy with software available today (ranging from free to quite expensive).
Affiliates then spend their time and energy
sending you traffic and you can spend your time concentrating on holding an
excellent teleseminar.
Start Getting More Traffic With Teleseminars
These are just 3 methods of getting traffic with
teleseminars that you can put into action immediately, these will help
you increase traffic to your website, and make more money online.
And once you get started, you'll quickly realize that your traffic problems
are suddenly not so large anymore!

Zion5 - A Neat Business Networking Site

Zion 5 may have existed a long time ago, but for me its an exciting new find.
If you've started to get the hang of Social Networking and you are an Internet Marketer then you should check this out if you don't know about it already.
It's neat because its so simply designed to serve the Internet Marketer without clogging up the system.
You have a profile page that you build up and then it has 3 basic sections:
1. Building Contacts
2. Sending messages: You get only one a day
3. Promoting your websites: Allowed to list as many as you have including affiliate links on your page. It's cool because if you are the first to list a site then all clicks without a up-line referral in the business comes to your site for credit and referral purposes. Really neat.
Go to Zion5 and find out more now.

Social Networking Sites For The Internet Marketer.
Personally I believe in both and think that this is a great way to be financially independent, free and a fun way to meet people all over the world. Yes there are some weird ones out there, but with a little bit of common sense and caution these few can be kept at bay.
I've noticed that Internet Marketers have during the last couple of months exploded on the Facebook hemisphere and started leveraging the traffic in a great way to build their businesses. How?
1. By becoming friends with like minded people or people interested in their niche.
2. By starting groups and offering services to their core niche , and its working.
Now its important that you don't just run off and join Facebook just this moment and then start a group just to get in on the action... well you can if you want too, but I'm sure it won't work that well if you don't know what you are doing.
What do I mean by this?
Well to start with you should have a fair grounding on how to network socially online, if you do this right then the sky is the limit.
When you join a social networking site it is important to become part of the community, participate and watch how its members interact with each other, your goal is to build relationships with people, relationships that will last, ones where trust and respect is built up over time.
For example when you are requesting for someone to be a friend of yours or contact don't just click the "Add Friend" button, use the message box provided to tell the member a little bit about yourself and why you are requesting for their friendship. Remember first impressions count. It's more time consuming but it will become very invaluable and rewarding in the long run.
So these are a few Social Networking Sites of Note:
Facebook: This site has had incredible growth in the last few years, it has over 80 million users, and according to "ComScore" is the second most trafficked social media site and the 6th most trafficked site worldwide. People love Facebook, it is a useful tool to keep in contact with family, friend and business associates, a family member I had lost contact with found me on Facebook yesterday! And I've noticed that Internet Marketers are beginning to harness the power of Facebook to build relationships and traffic to their sites. (more about this later). If you are a Marketer and you are yet to get a Facebook Profile then head on there now and sign up.
Twitter: Twitter is a cool tool used on the internet to follow friends. They update their profiles as often as they care to and their friends follow by reading about what they are doing. This is a very viral way of spreading news and information on the internet at no cost to you whatsoever.
Yuwie: A Social networking site with a difference, as this one earns you money as you get hits to your site and friends visit your page. Yuwie allows you to advertise and promote your internet marketing products and services amongst other things via blogs, groups and buying ad spaces on the site. You do this for free on Facebook and MySpace so why not get paid for your time on Yuwie, its not much but it all add up in the end.
DirectMatches: This is a social networking site primarily for business people, that is not to say that other social networking needs are not met, but business is a prime focus. This is a place where business owners, mlm, home based businesses, affiliate marketers, online business owners etc can make contact and advertise their products and services without spamming. There are numerous ways that this site allows you to promote your business, via a profile, building a contact list, blogs, uploading videos, forums, networks, classified advertising, pixel ads, and press releases. This is just a great place to get a push for your products and services.
MySpace: If you want to hangout with friends and have fun then MySpace is a good place to be. Mostly this site was used originally by teens and young adults to keep in contact with each other. The site has moved on now and quite a lot of older adults now have profiles on MySpace. Because of the relentless hoards of traffic that visit this site daily you will find that it is a silent money spinning machine if you know what you are doing. Have you got a niche? Search and find a group on MySpace that is interested in your niche, and viola you are in money!
So there you have it, just a few social networking sites that Internet Marketers can use to their advantage. Obviously there are loads more and as time goes by we shall be visiting a number of these sites.
